Think again:
Also: How could it be that Marcia Kramer, CBS2′s Chief Investigative / Political Correspondent, allows Markowitz to level these charges of fraudulent data against the City and against bike advocates, yet, she never bothered to pick up the phone to call the bike advocates to respond? Is that considered good journalism these days? I see amateur bloggers doing a better job than that.

Hard for me to know for sure because I’m very much on the side of the bike lane supporters, but I just watched the clip and I suspect that most reasonable people who haven’t followed this issue will come away with the impression that Markowitz is being utterly ridiculous. It’s clear that his whole case in this clip is pure conjecture and really, really wacky conspiracy theory. “They tipped them off!” I mean, you can’t sound less credible than that. I didn’t like the guy at the end though. That bike hipster should go back to the Midwest. Because this isn’t Amsterdam.
Does anyone have the power to remove this guy from office? Because, as I read elsewhere, this guy is truly batshit crazy. Besides that, he’s anti-safety. His insanity is not just theoretical. What he wants is a return to more traffic accidents. If that’s not grounds for impeachment, I don’t know what is.
Marcia’s supposed to cover public policy stuff, not buffoons, but bikers tick her off. I’ve dealt with her and can tell you that she is a b—ch on (four) wheels.
